What Does the PTA Do?

The PTA works to enrich the education and lives of the students and their families.  The PTA supports the curriculum through Awesome Art, Super Science, assemblies, science fair, Reflections, field trips, classroom support, classroom gifts and grants.  The PTA provides low cost family events such as the Ice Cream Social,  Outdoor Movie Night, Monster Bash, Bingo, Munchkins with Mom, Donuts with Dad and Game Night. The PTA hosts two classroom parties during the school year.  As members of the Gombert PTA, we support the Illinois and National PTA which work to support education and legislation that benefits all children.

The Gombert PTA invites each of you to become an active member and share your times and talents with the students at Gombert.

In addition to becoming a member, volunteering your time, and attending PTA sponsored events, there are a number of easy ways you can support the Gombert PTA in their efforts to raise funds.

                Box Tops

Throughout the school year, the Gombert PTA collects and redeems General Mills Box Tops for Education.  These Box Tops coupons can be found and clipped from the packaging of many General Mills products.  Send the clipped Box Tops coupons in to school with your student.  The PTA redeems them during the year to earn money to help support many PTA programs.
