from 5:30-6:00 pm

Gombert's 2nd Annual Fitness Challenge

This morning, we held a pep rally to officially announce the second annual Gator Fitness Challenge, Gombert’s main fundraiser for the year.  The Challenge will be held during the school day on Thursday, October 2nd.  During this exciting event, students will engage in a walk-a-thon and other fitness related activities. 

The students had a wonderful time during last year’s event, and we raised nearly $7,000 in donations.  Proceeds from the Challenge went toward funding field trips, assemblies, teacher grants, the science fair, field day, and other events throughout the year.  We are hoping to surpass last year’s donations with this year’s event.  Remember, the more we raise, the more we can do!  100% of the proceeds go back to Gombert. 

Everyone is a WINNER! Each student & class has the opportunity to win awesome prizes donated by local businesses. Prizes include a Razor scooter, American Flyers Intro Flight and iPad Mini!

Recognize your child's hard work with a SHOUT OUT message or 2 that will be displayed on the Wall of Shout Outs in the gym during the Gator Fitness Challenge. 

Each SHOUT OUT is just $2 and the money will count towards you total amount donated. Print your SHOUT OUT and Pledge Sheet

Don't forget to Visit Yogurt Beach tomorrow night!!

Our first restaurant night of the new school year will be on tomorrow night, September 3rd at Yogurt Beach. 

Visit Yogurt Beach and mention "Gombert" at checkout and the PTA will receive 30% from sales!
