Market Day Pick Up May 21st

Pick-up is held in the Gombert Multi-Purpose Room 

from 5:30-6:00 pm

Field Day Volunteers Needed

Field day is coming, Tuesday, June 3rd.  Help is needed!! 

You can set up, run a game or help clean up.  If it rains we will reschedule to Thursday, June 5th.  

Set Up:                    7:00 - 8:30 

Morning Games:     8:30 - 11:30

Afternoon Games:  12:30 - 3:30

Clean Up:                 3:00 - 4:30

Volunteers MUST have a valid ID. You will NOT be able to help without one.  If you have never volunteered at the school, please come in the day before so you can be added into the system or come at least 30 minutes early on Field Day.

Thank you to all the parents and students who brought in food, decorations and raffle prizes and to those who donated time and money to make our Teacher Appreciation Week a success! Our teachers were very grateful for everything!

A sweet treat for Mother's Day

The Gombert PTA will have individually wrapped, dipped pretzels available for purchase this week in the LMC.

These yummy treats will make a great gift for Mother's Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, or just a fun snack for students.

Each large dipped pretzel rod costs $1.00.

They will be available May 7 - May 9.

Wednesday morning 9:00-9:10am

Thursday & Friday mornings 8:50-9:00am

Teacher Appreciation Week

Next week is teacher appreciation week! 

Gombert Teachers are the Best, Bar None!

The PTA is celebrating our Gombert staff with a week of bar themed
food and activities. Please notice the special things we have planned for
the week of May 5th - 9th.

Monday, May 5th: Cinco de Mayo Taco Bar
The PTA will be starting off the week by decorating the lounge with
colorful tissue flowers made by Gombert families and hosting a taco
bar for lunch.
Bring a fresh flower to your teacher!

Tuesday, May 6th: Snack Bar
The PTA is hosting a snack bar with energy bars, granola bars, fresh
fruit, and bottled drinks.
Write your teacher a note or a poem to enjoy with their snacks!

Wednesday, May 7th: Breakfast Bar
The PTA is hosting a staff breakfast of muffins, bagels, yogurt, fruit
and juice.
Draw a picture of your teacher!

Thursday, May 8th: Salad and Sandwich Bar
The PTA will host a make your own salad and sandwich lunch.
Bring your teacher their favorite candy bar!

Friday, May 9th: Dessert Bar
The PTA will have lunch hour desserts and a staff raffle.
