I've just created a DonorsChoose.org Community - a place where any group of people can rally around the cause about which they are passionate. The Community features classroom projects submitted by public school teachers, which have been hand-selected by members to reflect our interests and passions. 

By way of background, DonorsChoose.org is an online charity connecting individuals, like you, to classrooms in need. Public school teachers post project requests that range from a $100 classroom library, to a $600 digital projector, to a $1,000 trip to the zoo. People like you can choose which projects to fund and then get photos and thank-you letters from the classroom.

Eat at Culver's to benefit Gombert!

(Across from Home Depot)

Your Culver's team and Gombert PTA are excited to invite you to come to a benefit day for Gombert school. the PTA will recieve 20% of all the sales (drive-thru, carryout and lobby) that that we bring into Culver's on Tuesday, October 22, 2013.

There will be a balloon artist creating designs between 4-8 pm. We would appreciate your support to help us raise funds for our students. Please join many teachers, staff and other Gombert families in this day of fun and community. 

Don't forget to tell your register person that you are there for Gombert and they will register your purchase for our school.

Fall Classroom Parties - November 26th

We need volunteers for the fall classroom parties!! Particularly in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades.   The parties are on Tuesday, November 26th from 2 pm until 3 pm.  

We are also in need of a Grade Level Coordinator for 2nd grade. This person would be responsible for planning the party for that grade (craft, snack and/or game).

PTA Meeting

A reminder that there is a PTA meeting this Thursday, October 17th at 6:30 pm.  Everyone is welcome!

Market Day Pick Up October 16th

Pick-up is held in the Gombert Multi-Purpose Room 

from 5:30-6:00 pm

Monster Bash Volunteers Needed!!!!

We need more volunteers for the Monster Bash !! 

We need help for the following:

Set-Up For: 

• Grave Yard  
• Ghost
• Trees 
• Island
• Maze
• Pirate

Set Up time begins at 1:00 but if you can't make it until later we can still use your help!

We also need actors for the Haunted House!  Pirates, Ghosts, Witches, and other areas of the House.  The actors are needed from 6 - until close. 

If you want to help at the concession stands we could use a few more volunteers there as well. The concessions are from 6:30 until 8:30 but if you can't do it for the the full two hours we'd be happy to have your help for even a little time!

Monster Bash is Coming!!!

PTA NEEDS YOUR HELP!

The Monster Bash is fast approaching!  The PTA needs your help to make this a fun night for everyone. 

Volunteers and Donations are needed for:

• Baked Goods for the cake walk
• Haunted Hause
• Decorating
• Help with games
• Concessions
• Clean Up
